PROSJECT MANAGER TO LYNGEN AREA
Lyngen municipality is located 70 km north and east of the city of Tromsoe. The area is well known
for its spectatulare mountains and offerings to outdoor activities, take a look at www.visitlyngenfjord.com. Lyngen municipality, in cooperation with Nord-Troms Studiesenter and Troms og
Finnmark fylkeskommune, are now in process of hiring a PROJECT MANAGER.
The position is a split duty between developing and deploying methods and best practices to
motivate employee in the industry to formalize and extend their skills and competence. In addition
to that and in parallell, work to marketing and recruit skilled and motivated people from northern
part of Scandinavia to exciting and attractive positions in our region.
The position will be located in Lyngen municipality and you will work with some of the most exciting
and fastest growing companies in the region, both traditional industry and marin harvest/salmon
plants.
We expect you to:
• Manage the project, initiate and deploy.
• Motivate employee and management in companies to formalize and extend their skills and
competence. In order to achieve that cooperate with companies to develop methods and
best practices.
• Initiate and manage marketing and recruitment people locally and from nordic region.
Qualifications:
• College or university degree, preferably master level
• Experienced in project management
• Focused and goal oriented
• Ability to strategic planning and implementation
• Ability to motivate coworkers and cooperating companies in order to achieve goals
• Fluent in english writing and oral, finnish, norwegian or swedish preferable
